Bhaltos is a crofting township in the remote and beautiful district of Uig on the Isle of Lewis in the Outer Hebrides, close to big beaches and fine mountains. The area is rich in wildlife, with excellent boating, walking, fishing, surfing and canoeing locations, and a rich and fascinating history.
21 Bhaltos is a detached former crofthouse in the middle of the village. The views from the front of the house are spectacular with an outlook over the townships of Bhaltos and Cnip to Loch Roag, the offshore islands and sandy beaches. Bhaltos Pier and a white shell-sand beach are about 300m away. The house is modernised, quiet and cosy with oil-fired central heating and double-glazing throughout. The house has three bedrooms (sleeps six), sitting room with wood burning stove, sun-porch and kitchen/dining room. There is also a fenced garden, and a barn. |
